The Jurassic Park Jeeps #12, #18 and #29 all had Mopar Light Bars surrounding the windshield frame. Jeep #10 did not have a light bar (or roll cage) as it was all going to be ripped off the Jeep anyways. There are two variations of the light bar found on the Jeeps.
Jeep #12 had a full light bar with a special plate mounted to the top for mounting 4 Jabsco 135SL search lights. Jeeps #18 & #29 had the mounting tabs ground down as no lights would be installed. The basic light bar was also modified on all Jeeps as it was originally a three piece bar that bolted together. All the ligth bars on the Jeeps in Jurassic Park were shortened by 1″ and then welded together.

Do you happen to know the part number to the mopar light bar? I am trying to see if I can find one. I just bought a 1992 Sahara and am getting it this weekend. I live in Oklahoma City so yes there will be another JP Jeep in Oklahoma. ; )

They haven’t made that light bar in years, so that number would basically be pointless to have at this point. Best ot just look for the bars on your local Craigslist.

I agree that they no longer make it but with places like EBAY and Google people do have some NOS or selling used ones by the part number. The part number would be nice to have. Thanks

This is easy to make all you need it pipe binder and bind it. Any SFX person would make one if needed for prop.

Our Jeep #18 had one custom bent and welded. The Mopar ones do still pop up from time to time if you spend long enough looking for one.
